FINALLY some one have found 3ds back gate 








TEAM have reportedly made considerable gains in breaking open the 3DS since their breakthrough a couples of week ago, when someone finally managed to breach the handheld’s protections and run custom code on the device.
Coder Xcution is showing off homebrew tests like the image above, and now another hacker named Neimod claims to have full control of the system in kernel mode with an unmodified 3DS and an exploit that uses a specific retail game.

While he says this exploit could be easily patched, Neimod notes that “with full kernel control, anything is possible  including circumventing the 3DS s pesky region lock everything is possible . He also saying that he didn't  want to allowing others to use the hack to use pirated software

now Neimod’s hack uses a specific save game in a certain retail 3DS game to exploit the handheld’s hardware. The hacker doesn’t want to reveal which game allow this hack, because Nintendo could then easily patch it


because while a few individuals can currently run custom code on their 3DSes, Neimod won’t release the procedure to the public until he can figure out how to save the exploit even once Nintendo knows how to fix it.

Failed attempts


Here are listed all attempts at exploiting 3DS software that have failed

Pushmo (3DSWare), app QR codes: level name is properly limited to 16 characters, game doesn't crash with a longer name. Only possible crashes are from out-of-bounds values and are not hackable.

Pyramids (3DSWare), app, QR codes: no strings. The LZ10 compression can't be exploited either. Only crashes are from out-of-bounds values (etc background ID) are not hackable.

3DS browser, 2^32 characters long string: The behavior of this crash is not well understood. The crash may or may not be done on purpose (Webkit contains code that triggers 'crashes' on purpose).  so whatever Anyway every attempt of 3ds hack has failed.
